Versatile Labelling, Packaging & Capping

We fulfill a variety of labelling, packaging, and capping requirements, from standard cork mouth closures to ROPP closures. And, if you come to us with a uniquely intricate idea, we’ll make that happen too.

Our inline labelling equipment handles straight sided and conical shaped bottles with ease, while our white gloves are here to hand-label your bespoke order.

Focused Efficiency

We work closely with each client to make sure we adhere to every specific requirement and maintain our trademark speedy service throughout a tightly organised bottling process. Our lead times are 2 weeks from receipt of all dry goods.

Let us know if you’d like to bottle on a certain date, or if you’d like a front row seat to the action. We always encourage clients to visit on the day of bottling to watch their products come to life.

 

Modern Facilities

Our 30,000sqft warehouse and storage facility allows us to offer an extended list of services to our clients.

The lines consist of pneumatic and volumetric filling machines, in-line labelling machines for the front, back, and neck labels, as well as 3-part filtration systems and a dedicated miniature line that can run 2cl - 10cl bottles. We also have additional capability in pouch and test tube filling.

Young Spirits is a bonded warehouse facility authorised by HMRC. We’re registered with the Spirits Drinks Verification Scheme for both Irish and Scotch whisky labelling, and registered with City of Edinburgh Council as a food & drinks business.

We are GACC registered in China, FDA approved in the US, CAN approved in South Korea, and offer expertise in all export paperwork.

FAQs

 

Is there a minimum order quantity?

Kind of. Runs start at 180 bottles, but we have a minimum order charge for any production runs less than that. It’s the best of both worlds, we think.

What bottle size do I need?

Our lines can handle any shape and size bottle. The bottle size often depends on the market that you’re selling to, so do your research and ask us questions.

Can I order a sample?

Of course — we’ll happily pour you a serve or two. We can provide 10cl spirit samples for £20 GBP per unit. The cost of shipping your samples is based on where your samples are going and weight.

Are you able to do miniatures?

Definitely. We have a dedicated miniature line that’s capable of bottling sizes from 2cl to 50cl.

What dry goods do I need to consider for bottling?

We stock a range of the most popular dry goods, ready for your use. However, if you’re thinking about providing your own dry goods, make sure you supply the following items:

  • Bottles

  • Corks

  • Capsules

  • Labels

  • Packaging

  • Boxes

Do you offer private label bottling?

Yes, we offer private labels for Scotch whisky and gin. We’ll get the white gloves out.

We handle your goods with the greatest of care and keep you updated every step of the way. Our bonded warehouse is authorised by HMRC and is one of Scotland’s newest and cleanest facilities.
